We traveled 50 miles to meet up with our Looper buddies Tim and Carol on Liquid Assets. We last saw them in March (that's five long months ago) when they left Marathon to begin their journey up the coast. That was a sad day for us, but today is the opposite! Ben and I both found ourselves giddy with excitement as we were getting closer to our destination of Cheboygan, MI. Not only do we love hanging with them, but they also have a dog, Benji, who Crocket loves as well. We all were excited!!! We planned two nights here, knowing we would need a day to recover from whatever we found ourselves doing! What a blessed life we lead, we get to enjoy our last few weeks traveling with those we love and even better we get to show them all our favorite spots!

We had two 8D batteries (these are for 12V electrical) that needed replaced, and luck would have it that the local marine dealer could accommodate us. We had them installed and the old ones removed (mind you each battery weighs over 100lbs) so Ben didn't have to risk hurting his back.
