Cleveland Rocks and so do my parents!!

Me, Dad and Mom at the Lakeside Yacht Club in Cleveland
We made it to Cleveland in 9 hours. It was a long day but a lovely day on the water. We planned our route to take us here so we could visit my parents, who live in the suburbs. It was crazy to have our boat here, we always visit them via car so seeing it from the water has a totally different feeling. It is hard to believe we actually made it this far...5,428 statue miles to be exact! Most people don't EVER travel this many miles in all their boating. The average owner of a powerboat larger than 28 feet traveled 11 days in 2012 (stat from the National Recreational Boating Survey (NRBS)). We have over 100 days of travel under our belt. woot woot!

My parents and uncle came to pick us up and take us to dinner. They also provided us a car so we could come and go and explore at our leisure. How lucky are we?!
Our time spent with family is always a special time for us, we haven't seen my parents since before we left last year so we cherish the time we can be together. We spent several days in Cleveland eating, shopping, relaxing, being with family and loving that we made it back to the Great Lakes! Our boat loves being in fresh water and so does Crocket!

Ben enjoying his boat ride! If you look really close that is the Cleveland skyline in the background

Ben on my dad's tractor...we sure would love to own this someday!!
Crocket LOVED being in grandma and grandpas yard!! This is Barney trying to get Crocket to chase him.
Ben the dog whisperer...all dogs swarm around him! (Barney, BlackJack, Ben and Crocket)

Downtown Medina, Ohio...cute town square with lots of shopping and food
This is the square where all festivals are held

Enjoying golf cart rides around the yard
We were so excited for them to finally see our boat. I think they were excited too!
Saying good bye is always hard.
