Our Boat

Jammin Jane 1998 Grand Banks 42 Classic

Grand Banks are known for their good looks (actually, handsome style) and solid construction. The 42 classic has not changed much in the three decades of production and is still considered one of the most recognizable trawlers. They are still very much in demand among trawlers.

General Specs:
LOA - 48 feet (includes our bow pulpit and swim platform)
LWL-  43 feet
Beam- 14.2 feet
Draft - 4.2 feet

Water capacity - 300 gallons
Fuel capacity - 500 gallons

We purchased Jammin Jane December, 2015.

  1. Hi Jane, Nice trip blog. My husband Doyle & I saw your boat at Farley Marina in Atlantic City on 6/26. We are in Hoffman's Marina at Manasquan/Brielle, NJ (as of 6/27). Wondering if you are here? We are looper's - may have met you in Norfolk in May?

    1. Hi Christy, sorry I missed your message. We were only in Atlantic City for one night and then we traveled to Great Kills Yacht Club in Staten Island. Where are you guys now? We were in Norfolk for a week over memorial day...what is your boat name?
