Clearwater...finally a beach!!!

Beautiful sunrise on our way to Clearwater
Our arrival to Clearwater was exhilarating! We had just crossed the Gulf of Mexico. This was 240 miles in 24 hours, something I (Ben has) have never done! We are now on the East side of Florida! We have traveled 2,600 miles since leaving our home port in Door County, WI. While planing this trip, making it this far always seemed unfathomable, I had feelings of fear and wonder and...WE ARE NOW HERE!!!  It feels pretty darn special, kinda adventurous too!! We stayed three nights in Clearwater enjoying our time visiting the town, the beach, eating out and catching a Clint Black concert along the way. Here it is in picture...

We made it across and snug here on the city side marina in Clearwater
While most were taking naps/relaxing after our 24 hour Gulf crossing, we HAD TO HIT THE BEACH!!
Our friends on No Zip Code joined us
Next day, back to the beach...we had the water taxi to deliver us back and forth across the channel

Lunch with the crews from Knot Sew Easy, Maztle Tug and Liquid Assets
It was crazy windy and a bit chilly but WE ARE ON THE BEACH!
Everyone makes fun of my selfie stick...I love it!!

Linda and Ralph, we will meet back up near Ana Maria Island
T-Liz on the beach!
I love this guy!
These annoying people were feeding the seagulls

Did someone say ice cream...I NEVER turn it down!

Clint Black...It looks like no one is here, but really it was a sold out show. We were just overly punctual!
