| This pelican was wondering the dock by our boat for a couple days, not eating, and it was getting cold at dark. I had him rescued. I checked on him and it was confirmed he is a male, was a youth that was displaced from his pod migrating from New Orleans. He should have weighed 8-10lbs, he was 3.5lbs.
