Hanging in Northport

The views of the lake are spectacular! We are blessed to have this water in our backyard!
Three days in Northport, MI was spent at the farmers market, enjoying live music in the park, eating yummy pizza, shopping, visiting with a friend who completed the Loop at the age of 24 and getting the best tour of the area. We did not run into any Loopers boats while here but we did meet a couple who are preparing to depart this fall (I'm jealous!). We have been enjoying our time together savoring our last days in some of our favorite places.
Ben and I leave here and make our way across Lake Michigan and park ourselves for a few days before heading to our home port (oh my! I don't want the trip to end!).

Ben and Crocket standing by the lovely Louise that our friend Jesse and Katie completed the Great Loop in a few years ago.
We had a blast sharing stories and catching up! Jesse has a blog that we followed before we started our adventure, we felt honored to meet such an awesome Looper chick and blessed to be friends!! Check out her amazing blog: https://katieandjessieonaboat.com
Jesse's dad took us on an amazing tour of Northport...the views did not disappoint!!!

Concert in the park, complete with great people watching!
How lucky am I? Pizza right across the parking lot! Thin crust even!
Northport marina C-dock, we are docked here and it is hard to believe we were here a year ago just starting our trip...time flies and man do I want to do this again!!!
